YOU DON'T BUY, I DON'T SELL. NETHERLANDS

YOU DON'T BUY, I DON'T SELL. NETHERLANDS.
FEMEN Netherlands in support of the International "You don't buy, I don't sell" campaign against prostitution, we demand criminalization of the client worldwide. Protection from sexual exploitation is a human right!

After decades of passive tolerating, the Netherlands legalized prostitution in 2000, the first country in the world to do so, hoping this change of policy would help improve the lives and conditions of those working in the prostitution sector. An idealistic hope that more freedom would set the marginalised free, but instead, that freedom only liberated the clients and the privileged. The promised change never came and every week fresh female meat from Eastern Europe floads the red lighted  market of hell, paid rape never has been this legal before. Young girls get promised a good job and a nice future in wealthy Holland, but end up without either and without any other choice.

FEMEN says: don't make promises you can't keep! With the You don't buy, I don't sell campaign, FEMEN makes a real promise: that we fight against the sex industry, to hold the clients responsible as the exploiters they are! If clients don't buy, women don't sell. If men are stripped of their right to buy another human being and use them like an object, these women gain back the power of free choice: men are no longer entitled to sex when you are just desperate to survive.

Undo the shameful mistake this country made 13 unlucky years ago! Criminalize the client and end legal sexual exploitation!
No to prostitution!
