On Monday, May 8, 2017, my friend took this photo of Coalition Chinook helicopters turkish flying overhead. They had landed in territory controlled by Daesh, 3.5 km from where he is in Shargat near Mosul. He swears this goes on many days and the Coalition is helping Daesh. On a daily basis Daesh attacks the displaced Sunni Arabs living in Shargat. The Coalition watches, but does not do anything to stop the Daesh attacks.

Not every Sunni family or village joined or even supported Daesh. The Sunni village of Alzewiah refused to support Daesh. It was attacked by Daesh.

This witness says, "Daesh attacked us at 12:35 PM on July 7, 2014. I fought against Daesh with my younger brother. Again our muhktar called Prime Minister al-Maliki and begged for help, "We are fighting Daesh. We are in danger!" They did not care about us. Some people called me from Mosul and asked me "Why? Why? Why are you fighting against the Islamic State?" Many people in Mosul welcomed Daesh. They called us Jewish for not supporting the Islamic State.

"The battle in Alzewiah lasted two days until we ran out of bullets. We were begging Baghdad to send us more ammunition. We did not need soldiers; only ammunition and field equipment.
We killed 300 of the Daesh militants. Daesh killed 100 residents including my brother, women and babies. They kidnapped 200. Rumors say they were taken to Raqqa, Syria, but I am certain Daesh killed them."
