Honor violence, 12/7
Hedge violence is sanctioned by the family. Girls genital mutilation, innocence controlled, gifts removed in young years, are forbidden to go out. Men control, but even women are perpetrators when they bleed for girls' freedom. It is a collective acceptance. We must dare to make up with medieval traditions and gender thinking that lock in and make women - and even young men - victims.
Fadime and Pela were murdered more than 15 years ago and since then a silence culture and anxiety have been laid as a wet blanket on the issue of honorary culture. Liberal Women have more than once been called racists and cultural imperialists when we demanded the equal rights of all girls and women to decide their lives, bodies and sexuality themselves.

Men and women's right to live under the same conditions is uncompromising. Legislation exists, but for too long religious freedom has been seen as superior. For too long, the honor violence has been excused. For too long, left-wing ministers have claimed that "they want it so" when small children and young girls have been decided. Liberal Women distance themselves from all forms of cultural relativism that legitimize traditional and religious oppression. Legislation needs to be clarified and tightened.
The school should be a free zone
Education is the foundation of a democratic and free society. It is not acceptable to be able to live a whole life in a country without understanding, being able to access information or to go to a healthcare center without an interpreter. It binds, doubtless, for exclusion. Social orientation, with particular focus on gender equality and parental responsibility, must be mandatory for new arrivals and the importance of citizenship is lifted through compulsory education in Swedish.
Liberal Women welcome diversity, but not at the price of the individual's freedom. The reason is a secular state and school is the free zone where everyone meets on equal terms. Therefore, Liberal Women say no to religious schools. We also want small children in school to be free of sleep until they can make informed choices, at the age of 9-12, when you usually consider taking into account the will of children. If we contribute to dressed little girls, we also help to consolidate an ancient approach.
We oppose gender separation, in schools, bath houses and other public environments. In one of the world's most equal countries, men and women are on equal terms. Everything else is a decline.
